As a former Credit River Township Board Supervisor, Board Chair and City Council Member, I had the privilege of serving alongside Chris Kostik and Leroy Schommer for many years. Together, we navigated the significant transition from township to city at a time when development pressures could have caused the loss of properties to annexation. Their leadership helped Credit River take control of its future, ensuring that our community’s best interests were protected. I witnessed their steadfast commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparent leadership, values that remain essential for Credit River today.

Chris and Leroy aren’t just leaders in City Hall—they're always at the ready to step in when needed, whether it’s removing a fallen tree in an emergency, or checking roads for safety issues. They’re also always willing to listen to residents’ concerns and direct any necessary actions. Their hands-on approach reflects their dedication to making decisions that benefit the community as a whole, not for self-serving purposes. This approach has consistently shown that they care deeply about Credit River’s long-term success.

I strongly endorse Chris Kostik for Mayor and Leroy Schommer for City Council in this upcoming election. Their proven dedication and experience will continue to benefit all residents of Credit River.

Sincerely,

Brent Lawrence
